Originally named Amira Hookahs, BYO has since rebranded and have used the opportunity to become one of the best affordable hookah accessory brands on the market today. They offer a collection of unique designs including both HMD-compatible and foil-only bowls, phunnel bowls designed to improve flavor and airflow, and even a segmented bowl to make mixing shisha flavors even easier! BYO Hookahs' budget-friendly accessories make it simple to get more out of your smoke sessions - all without breaking the bank.
BYO hookah bowls are made using lightweight ceramic and 100 percent food-safe glazes, however, they do make some unglazed models.
To clean a BYO hookah bowl, a rinse with hot water and soap is all that is needed. Use the rough side of a kitchen sponge to eliminate tougher, caked-on shisha residue. Remember: always allow your bowl to cool off completely before cleaning to prevent damage caused by temperature shock. If your particular bowl is one of the unglazed versions, a dark patina or "seasoning" in the bowl dish will develop over time.
Some Amira and BYO bowls feature a raised "lip" around the edge and are therefore compatible with most heat management devices (HMDs). Other models are not compatible with HMDs however. To find out if your bowl is compatible with an HMD, check out the respective product pages for each bowl or reach out to our friendly customer service team for assistance.
Amira and BYO hookah bowls will not include a rubber grommet. You can find our available selection of bowl grommets here.
